Wreaths Across America
Wreaths Across America is a nationwide event where thousands of cemeteries participate in laying wreaths on Veteran's graves to honor their memories. Click here watch a short video and learn more about the meaning behind this movement that Greenlawn has been proud to participate in since 2019.
This year's event will be Saturday December 13, 2025 The Candlelight ServiceGreenlawn has been holding its annual candlelight service since 2017. This service is a way for us to come together as a community and pay tribute to loved ones who are no longer with us. We do this by lighting candles in their honor at sunset and you can sign up to have your loved one’s name read aloud. We encourage anyone who has a loved one buried at Greenlawn to participate, but especially those who have recently had a loved one pass – it can be a meaningful way to bring comfort during this time of loss.
The next Candlelight Service will be held in spring of 2026. Date to be determined. GriefshareWe are honored to partner with Immanuel Baptist Church to offer GriefShare, a compassionate support program designed to help you navigate the difficult journey of grief. GriefShare provides a safe and understanding community where you can find encouragement and healing after the loss of a loved one. Through video seminars featuring grief experts, group discussions, and personal workbooks, you'll gain practical tools and valuable insights to help you process your emotions and move forward. Recognizing that the holiday season can be particularly challenging, we also offer "Surviving the Holidays," a special GriefShare session focused on finding strength and strategies for coping during these times. We are committed to supporting our families and offer several GriefShare sessions throughout the year to meet your needs.
